JSAO Peer Tuition Seminar

Hello everyone! Thank you for tuning in to our very first newsletter. We are so proud and excited to announce the culmination of our first JSAO Peer Tuition Seminar, held by our National Team at JSAO Ghana. 

First and foremost, we would like to extend a huge applause and commend our National JSAO Ghana Team. A huge applause for our officers National Director of Ghana Mr. Joseph Awuah and our Deputy National Director, Ms. Adjoa Sarpong!

We would love to extend an amazing applause as well to our knowledgeable and extraordinary tutors. Thank you so much to Mr. George Kobby Osae, Mr. Marcus Boafo, Mr. Oduro Yeboah, Ms. Jessica Kotey, and Mr. Clifford Agyemang!

Our tutors at JSAO's very first flextime seminar presented on the impact of cancer and cancer awareness-focusing in on 5 topics, specifically cancer+cancer causes, cancer types, cancer risk factors (cancer screening and detection), cancer treatments: Advancements in biotechnology: immunotherapy, and the role of technology and AI in cancer treatment: Possibilities for the future!

The seminar held over 25 total participants, with students tuning in from across the world, both from the JSAO Ghana and JSAO USA chapters to listen to the impactful research and work of our tutors. 

The impact of our tutors research and presentation have been immense. Students from across the globe have received a great deal of information and knowledge regarding cancer and the importance of cancer awareness in today's fast-paced world! Once again, the global efforts of our JSAO team have led to a greater global interconnectedness and cohesivity, leading to a better society as a whole.
